so i don't know about you, but i feel like i've been smacked in the face repeatedly over the course of the last year with the idea that neons totally work when paired with neutrals. i kind of lusted after images in magazines and blogs but was hesitant - because, as we all know, some of these trends don't quite work on your average joe. personally, i felt kind of whacky throwing these bright colors together but I put my head down and start piling stuff together and all of a sudden I looked up and was like - hey wow - I kind of dig this. maybe just one more color....and...no. 3 is enough. I'll wear that hot pink fanny pack tomorrow.
