Ok, I love this next series. I'm kind of all about the series photos, aren't I? Anyway, we thought this light post was super amazing and wanted to use it. So, I had Carolyn click the camera setting over to Sports and made her stand there with the button pushed down while I ran up, jumped and swung around... You know, like Gene Kelly did while he was Singin in the Rain. Except in my case, I was in 4 inch heels and a dress and it was 95 deg outside. Anyway, I thought for sure I could do it cause, remember this photo? Piece of Cake.
OK, so here I go. I'm checking out the post, doing a routine volleyball "spike" approach...
I'm there, I'm there...Carolyn you getting this???
Awww, I totally suckered out and did this very lady-like lean back, leg kick-up. In the end I think my way was safer for everyone. I'm happy enough leaving the acrobatics to the professionals:
One quick note about this getup: I wish I had taken a close up of the dress. The pattern is kind of basic but kind of busy at the same time - little blue and gray circles. Sometimes when you have a dress like that, you almost need a belt to break up the pattern, so your body doesn't get lost. I decided to go with that fuschia belt for a blast of color. In the end, I was also pretty happy with the way the turquoise earrings and mustard pumps complemented the belt and dress pattern. I wasn't sure at first, but in the end said 'what the hay.'
Sometimes, it's not only for horses.

I love this series...you've got some great shots, but what I love most is how much fun you're having.
